Sewer and Water Division of the Public Works Department is responsible
for the administration, operation and maintenance of Walpole's utility
infrastructure. As these systems and the community expand, so too
does the duties and responsibilities of the staff. Committed to providing

Public
Service Announcement on Lead in the Drinking Water
Why should
Walpole residents want to know the facts about lead and drinking
water? Because unhealthy amounts of lead can enter drinking water
through the plumbing in your home. You can have your drinking water
analyzed for lead content for approximately $50.00 per sample. For
additional information on testing and simple ways to reduce exposure
to lead in the drinking water, Walpole residents can contact the
Walpole Water Department at (508) 660-7306.
