On-Line
Banking
On-line banking
services mail manual checks to the Town of Walpole; payments are
not made electronically. As a result the bill payment is delayed
around five business days. Please consider this delay when paying
Town of Walpole bills using on-line banking services to ensure that
payments arrive by the due date so as to avoid interest and late
fees.
Conversely
ebill, the Towns on-line bill paying service, allows
timely payments to be made up until 11:59 PM on the due date. This
is because an Ebill payment is an electronic transfer from your
bank to the Towns bank. Please click on the link below for
more information on ebill.
Please confirm
that any online banking service payment that you are making includes
the correct information as to what bill you are paying. These checks
are sent without the remittance information and must be manually
processed.
