You should call the tax collector's office to have a copy of the bill mailed to you so that you can pay the bill by the due date.Tax payments are due in the Tax Collector's Office by Friday, August 1, 2008 by 12 noon. If you intend to mail your payment, please allow ample time for the Postal Service delivery. A postmark is not proof of timely payment.

Real Estate & Personal Property Tax Payments

Payments may be in person at the Town Collector's Office in the Town Hall at 135 School Street. The Tax Collector's Office is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:00 PM, Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Payments may also be placed in the Town Hall Mail Drop Box which is located at the back of the Town Hall near the left entrance.

On-Line Banking

On-line banking services mail manual checks to the Town of Walpole; payments are not made electronically. As a result the bill payment is delayed around five business days. Please consider this delay when paying Town of Walpole bills using on-line banking services to ensure that payments arrive by the due date so as to avoid interest and late fees.

Conversely ebill, the Town’s on-line bill paying service, allows timely payments to be made up until 11:59 PM on the due date. This is because an Ebill payment is an electronic transfer from your bank to the Town’s bank. Please click on the link below for more information on ebill.

Please confirm that any online banking service payment that you are making includes the correct information as to what bill you are paying. These checks are sent without the remittance information and must be manually processed.

Pay your tax bill online using ebill
