Sec'y Cindy Berube (left)

Secretary Cindy Berube are long-time and dedicated staff members
that serve the Town in the Office of the Board of Selectmen and
Town Administrator. During January, each played key roles in new
assignments and law changes that affected their office and the
Town. As a result of staff reductions, Mrs. Berube was called
upon for the first time to assemble and prepare Fiscal Year 2005
budget documents, a massive task that in the past that was handled
by several employees, and the results were outstanding. Mrs. Abril
was faced with researching, interpreting, and presenting information
on a recent change to state law that now allows for alcohol sales
on Sundays. Despite the enormous confusion of the new legislation,
the Town was well positioned to properly work with the changes
that resulted. Collectively, both Clare and Cindy are also recognized

with staff reductions in their office since July. Both have taken
on the added duties assignments and tasks with a smile, and their
