COMMUNITY GIVING TREE

for Walpole residents only

The winter months are here. Everyday we hear how bad the economy is; that the heating, electricity and food prices continue to rise. People are losing their jobs due to lack of work or companies closing down. Some of us are fortunate enough to be able to survive these difficult times while others are really struggling.

The Community Giving Tree is for the long winter months when Walpole residents are finding it extremely difficult due to lack of funds to buy food, medication, personal items, clothing. Look deep into your heart and consider helping by way of a gift card/certificate donation in any denomination that will be given to senior citizens, families, adults and/or children that need help over the winter months. We are specifically looking for gift cards/certificates from Stop & Shop, Big Y, CVS, Betro Pharmacy, Kohl's, Old Navy and Wal-Mart. The Community Giving Tree is a way for the entire community to come together to give a little help to other residents within the Town of Walpole.

Gift cards/certificates can be donated at any time over the next six months and placed in the gift box by the Giving Tree located in the office of Town Administration at Walpole Town Hall, 135 School Street.

All donations of gift cards/certificates must be clearly marked with the name of the store and the dollar amount of the gift card/certificate.

Any donation you can give will be greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU.
