To Bidders
Sealed
proposals for furnishing the following to the Town of Walpole will
be received in the Purchasing Office, Room 118, Town Hall, 135 School
Street, Walpole, Massachusetts 02081 until the date and time specified
for each bid, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and
read. The Town of Walpole is an affirmative action/equal opportunity
owner/purchaser.

The
below bid contracts are subject to approval by the Walpole Board
of Selectmen.

| Specifications
and proposal forms may be obtained at the Purchasing Office, Room
118. Proposals shall be submitted on the form furnished and in a sealed
envelope marked on the outside with proposal title, bid number and
the bidder's name. Bid surety deposits and performance bonds may be
required if stated in the specifications for each of the above items. |
| The
Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals
to waive any technicality to any bid or part thereof, to contract
in part or in whole, and to accept the bids deemed to be in the best
interest of the Town of Walpole. |

No. 2008-25 Type I Resurfacing At Various Locations
Please
be advised that this project is being funded by The Commonwealth
of Massachusetts (Mass Highway). State regulations require
that bidders for this project be prequalified by Mass Highway.
Firms that are not prequalified shall not be allowed to
bid on this contract. Contractors intending to bid on this
project must obtain Request For Proposal Forms from Mass
Highway, 10 Park Plaza, Room 6260, Boston, MA 02116. Contractors
shall submit the approved prequalification form to the Purchasing
Office prior to receiving a set of bid specifications. No
bid specifications will be released unless the approved
prequalification form from Mass Highway is in the Town's
possession.
